Specialty
Certified Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Feeding Disorders with over 13 years experience focused on pediatric feeding for ages birth to early childhood. My practice focuses on supporting any child who is having difficulty eating a variety of foods, including those who are transitioning off g-tubes, need to improve oral motor skills, overhwhelmed by sensory based feeding issues and those requiring behavioral support.

Current and Past Work Experience
My 13 years of experience includes working in a hospital setting and NICU and providing home based therapy for a variety of children including those with Down Syndrome, FPIES, EoE, and garden-variety picky eaters.

I believe in an eclectic approach that respects all aspects of feeding: medical, sensory, oral motor skills and behavior.

Other
I am a national speaker on the topic of feeding disorders and picky eating and the author of Happy Mealtimes with Happy Kids: How to Teach Your Child About the Joy of Food! My children's CD, Dancing in the Kitchen, is filled with songs that celebrate learning how to eat a variety of foods and has been featured in Autism Asperger's Digest, Denver Business Journal and other publications. My interest is in tailoring therapy sessions specifically for the needs of each family and finding strategies that work for the individual child, rather than following one protocol for all kids.

"Getting Jessica to gain weight has been a constant struggle. Her diagnosis of Failure to Thrive in the absence of any other medical problems has caused my husband and I much embarrassment because so many people and medical professionals felt it was our fault. Your compassionate and empathetic manner helped us feel at ease and comfortable in our decision to work with you, and by taking your suggestions we have been able to get Jessica to gain 10 pounds in 6 months, putting her on the growth chart for the first time since she was 2. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" See more testimonials. Feeding Underweight Children
