Northwest Pediatric Therapy
Lynn M. Center, M.S., CCC-SLP (Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology) Owner of Northwest Pediatric Therapy.
I have helped a children of various abilities from birth to age 10 develop the oral-motor/feeding skills necessary for successful eating and drinking.
I have worked with children with speech-language and oral-motor/feeding disorders in the private practice setting for 13 years.
I provide feeding therapy depending on the child's individual needs. I attend feeding courses annually and use a variety of feeding techniques. I emphasize a family-centered approach and believe that a child will succeed quicker and more successfully if the therapist trains the caregivers on how to feed their child. Most feeding therapy occurs in the child's natural environment (generally in the home), however, at some point, therapy may transition to other settings.
Speech-language pathologists at Northwest Pediatric Therapy provide therapy in the clinic, daycares/preschools, and/or homes in the Northwest Arkansas area. We accept Arkansas Medicaid, AR Kids A & B, TEFRA, private pay, and most insurances. We are also an Early Intervention provider.

"Getting Jessica to gain weight has been a constant struggle. Her diagnosis of Failure to Thrive in the absence of any other medical problems has caused my husband and I much embarrassment because so many people and medical professionals felt it was our fault. Your compassionate and empathetic manner helped us feel at ease and comfortable in our decision to work with you, and by taking your suggestions we have been able to get Jessica to gain 10 pounds in 6 months, putting her on the growth chart for the first time since she was 2. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
