3. Wellness Services: We recognize that emotional challenges have a significant impact on our health and well-being. We strive to promote healing of the mind, body and spirit. We use energetic modalities that are effective, safe, gentle and non-invasive. They can be used with people of all ages and abilities, including infants.
Some examples of children who would benefit from our services are those who:
-have chronic symptoms that are difficult to manage medically (such as pain, persistent allergies, frequent headaches)
-are adjusting to a major life change (e.g., marital separation/divorce, loss of a family member or friend, moving to new neighborhood or school, addition of baby to family, etc.)
-have low self-esteem, self-confidence or self-worth
-have communication or sensory integration challenges, resulting in stress or frustration from being misunderstood or from being in an overwhelming world
-have persistent feelings of anxiety, sadness or fear
-have been the victim of bullying or have been the aggressor
-have experienced trauma in the past (Note: any experience can be perceived as traumatic if it results in feelings of helplessness, vulnerability, loss of safety, and loss of control). For example, babies who experienced any invasive medical interventions may continue to hold memories of trauma in their bodies as young children.
